Mobile Scanners- The Great Icebreaker

Ah- my mobile scanner is my secret weapon in my arsenal of notary tools.

Want a visual?

Here is the beautiful thing, below:

My Mobile Scanner- a great conversation tool :)

It's a tiny but mighty little thing.

I get more excited gasps, ooh and ahs and keen interest in this little tool, the moment that I whip it out of my notary bag.

Something about it's compact nature, and the way it folds up neatly in my bag, and yet how it can instantly send all the closing documents to my title offices instantaneously  brings about universal delight.

One of the things I work very hard on balancing carefully during all of my appointments is a sense of professionalism yet friendliness, to keep the signing going smoothly and pleasantly.

I learned that through my LSS loan signing signing certification course which  you can find out about through my link here.

Most of my signers become my besties by the end of our appointments and most of the time, it starts with this little mobile scanner of mine.

Oh mobile scanner, how I do love thee!

If you're interested in which mobile scanner I use, here's an affiliate link to my exact scanner on Amazon.

Of course you don't have to use my link to purchase , but if you do, I will get a very small commision, which is always nice. :)

I don't feel like I was very productive today..

I did start my day with my morning prayer walk, which is always when I feel like I can take deep breaths and set my mind for the day.

I've come to rely on these morning walks more and more and I don't know what I would do without them.

I remember when I was working full time and outside the home.

I had to leave for work at 3:30 am in the morning, which meant that I always missed the sunrise.

My #1 dream during that time was that I would somehow be able to take my morning walks again and be able to have the luxury of seeing the sunrise.

The fact that I am able to now see the sunrise and take a morning walk and yet make more with 1 appointment a day then I used to make during my old 8 hour workday is a true gift from God.

Here's a picture from one of my recent morning walks.

Stunning , right?

I wish I had done more today, but again it was another busy day due to some more personal issues, so I went and took care of some friends who needed help and turned down all signings except for one.

Again, it was a well paying signing appointment and paid double the amount that I'm used to getting so I felt pretty good about that and decided that was enough for today.

However, it is getting closer to the last two weeks of the month, which means it's going to have to be pedal to the medal for the rest of October.

I'm hoping that I will be disciplined enough to get all my signings done, start setting up the RON (Remote Online Notarization) side of my business, and still update this page throughout the week.

I can do this, right?

I'm still looking for more ways that I can use my Notary Commission

One interesting thing that came through today was an opportunity that I was looking into and applied for over a month ago.

It's working as a mortgage property inspector.

The company that reached out to me was looking for experienced notaries who would be willing to take a certification course in order to learn the ins and outs of property inspection work.

I got my certification completed about 2 weeks ago and have just been waiting to hear back.

They just sent over a test inspection for me to complete over the weekend.

I'm hoping that I do it well enough for me to proceed with the next steps.

Here's to hoping!

I'll be working on that plus a new newsletter to send out to all my subscribers, hopefully for a Monday delivery date.

Hope you all have a wonderful Friday evening....
