I saw this new writing course being offered by a successful
freelance writer this week and it seems to offer great info but not many
of us can shell out $$ for these high value courses.
It IS possible to work as a freelance writer without someone giving
you a step by step tutorial. (Of course, it's easier if someone kind of
shows you the ropes, but still, this CAN be done.)
There are websites like About.com and Hubpages that are always
looking for people to submit articles. Just know that you won't get
paid a whole lot for your time, at least at first.
But, if you decide that you want to work from home as a Freelance writer, the best thing to do is just... start.
With time and experience, you can build up your portfolio and then start to work some high-powered gigs.
One of the easiest companies to get started with as a Freelance writer is
iWriter.
I saw an amazing article on this website on Hubpages (of all
places). This article is extremely detailed and I believe it will tell
you all you need to know about getting started with iWriter, as well as
all the good and bad about the company/website.

It's a super fabulous article and I highly suggest you check it out!
