50 Microjobs and How to Train Your Brain to be Wealthy by a PhD September 30, 2019 |
Hi,Welcome back for the latest issue of my newsletter: Finding Work at Home Job Ideas! If you like this e-zine, please do a friend and me a big favor and "pay it forward." by forwarding this to a friend!
A cool 50 Ways to Make Money- All Online , a PhD Teaches us How To Rewire Our Brain for Success and.... the hottest moneymaking forum on the web right now.So, I've been listening to a ton of podcasts lately. All day, every day, because my job actually encourages me to. I know, crazy right? But the company I work for has a strong belief that we will actually be happier and more efficient if we get to listen to music or podcasts while we work. So, we do! I had never actually listened to a Podcast before I started working for this company and honestly, I didn't know what I was missing. They are fantastic!
Mostly, I listen to The Bible Project, which is fascinating... and the Achieve Your Goals Podcast with Hal Elrod. Hal Elrod is the author of the Miracle Morning, the book I absolutely LOVE and wrote about briefly in last week's newsletter. Anyway, Hal had a guest on his podcast named Dr. Shannon Irvine, who has a PhD in Neuropsychology. Can I just tell you how fascinating their talk was? She broke down scientifically, why our brains are actually governed not by our conscious mind, but by our SUBCONSCIOUS MIND, which has automated 80-90% of the decisions we make on a daily basis. The problem is that we may not even be consciously aware of these automated processes, which were probably mostly instilled in childhood and still run the show. So, you have a poverty mentality? Maybe you heard the ongoing refrain growing up that money doesn't grow on trees, or something similar.
Dr. Shannon and Hal talked about how you can fundamentally condition your mind and your subconscious to rewire it so that you change HOW YOU THINK and how you respond. and that basically, there is nothing that you can't become.
Cool, right?
So, how does that pertain to us?
We all have things. Whether it be phobias or a lack mentality or maybe our kids are athletes or musicians trying to get to the next level.
Dr. Shannon has a proven success rate and I LOVE that she shares a very practical technique on how to overcome limiting beliefs in the podcast she did with Hal Elrod.
This is a Doctor of Neuropsychology who mostly consults with high level athletes and entrepeneurs, giving us her technique backed by solid research and again, like I said it is fascinating. So, if it helps any of you, you should definitely check out that podcast!

Last of all..One day, while surfing the web, I happened across this cool article on the HOTTEST forum on the web for money making ideas. It's a redditt forum of course, which is basically the place where everyone goes to get the real story on.... anything. Perfect, right? In particular, there is a poster named The Might Ox who posts monthly "Who Paid Me" post that is apparently very helpful. He breaks down dollar by dollar how he makes a living online. Can you replicate it? Maybe, maybe not, but at least it will give you some good ideas on how to make a nice little side income for the holidays. www.reddit.com/r/beermoney/. I try to post a variety of work in the course of the week, be it jobs for Teachers, Nurses, Accounting Professionals, Freelance Writers and Customer Service Agents.
