I'm back with your newest job leads for the month of May.

But first,

I always tell my readers that there are tons of freelance writing jobs out there.

What may hold people back is their perceived lack of experience and the low pay.

What do I say about that?

You’ve got to start somewhere!

Maybe start small by offering to write free content for a blog or website.

The key is to start building up your writer’s portfolio as quickly as you can.

Here are some resources for you if you think you’d like to pursue freelance writing as your side gig:

Today’s job lead is coming from a website that many of you may be familiar with:

Cracked.com

They are looking for highly creative freelance writers who are able to write “List” articles for their website.

I love that they make sure to let us know that experience is not absolutely necessary.

You just write your article, and if they like it, you have a hot at having it posted on their site and getting paid for it.

This would be a great way for some of you to get your foot in the door and get a great submission for your writer’s portfolio.

So, what do you have to lose?

Just a little time spent registering and then coming up with a funny article. You can do it!
