Are you looking for a great work at home job? Check out a company called Voice Log!

Voice Log is one of those companies that is fantastic and very few people know about.

This company is especially great for those of you that are looking for a true phone customer service job (no selling!) that you can perform from the comfort of your own home.

You don't have to worry about this being a scam, this is a legitimate company that is looking for dedicated and professional workers experienced in customer service to take calls for their clients from the comfort of their own home!

Voice Log has been around for over 10 years.....

....Providing third party verification for various companies such as :

  • Utility Companies
  • Phone companies
  • Credit Card companies and
  • Health Care Companies

If you happen to be fluent in English and any of the following languages then you may have a greater chance of being hired, since they are actively hiring bilingual agents who speak : Spanish, Korean, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Tagalog and Cantonese.

My own experience with Voice Log came about a few years back, when I was first trying to gain experience in the work at home world.

I had just ended my first work at home job to work for another company (also home based) and I'll tell you that the saying "When it rains, it pours" is so true because  I opened up my email inbox and saw an offer from  this company to start training as a Third Party Verification Agent!

I was already committed to the new company that I was now working for and (even though I was so disappointed to have to do this)  I had to turn down Voice Log's offer of employment, because the training would have been 8-5 Monday through Friday for a week or two and I simply didn't have the time to work both my regular home based job and start training for a new position with another company.

Looking back, I sometimes used to second guess myself because I wondered if working for Voice Log would have been more pleasant than the job I ended up staying with at the time but I can't deny that everything really ended up working out the way that it should have, because my path led me to my current work at home position which I love very much.

About the job

Currently, Voice Log is hiring customer service agents to work in one of two capacities:

1. Live Operator

As a live operator, you will be taking incoming calls; these callers will be customers who may be :

  • Confirming placed orders
  • Authorizing monthly charges that will be deducted from their credit cards
  • Confirming a change to a different Utility provider or
  • Enrolling into the Medicare program

2. Third Party Verification agent

Working in this capacity , your job description would be to listen to recordings of sales calls to determine if the sale is valid and to check for any incidences of fraud.

This seems like it could be very interesting work and this one would not require for you to talk to customers at all.

Again, in this position as well, they are primarily looking for agents who are fluent in the languages listed above and you can expect to be paid according to the number of recordings that are reviewed.

Pay

One thing you might want to be aware of is that you do not get paid for training.

However once you finish training (which is typically about one week) you can expect the pay to be 8.50 an hour on weekdays and 9.00 an hour on weekends.

From all accounts, the work is steady and there are a good number of available hours to be had.

Working for this company, you will be working as an independent contractor, which means that you will be responsible for deducting your own payroll taxes.

Scheduling Hours

This happens to be a work at home job that allows you to have a very flexible schedule!

I love that this company actually allows you to design your own schedule. Basically, they allow you to choose which hours you are available to work, you advise them of your availability and the company will schedule you to work based on what you have chosen! That sounds like a pretty good deal to me!

Requirements

The requirements are pretty simple and straightforward. For both positions the requirements are :

An up to date computer with high speed internet.

At least one year of customer service experience in a call center.

A second phone line that is dedicated only to taking calls for Voice Log with no features such as call waiting, call forwarding or voicemail.

It's a good idea to pick up a headset with noise cancelling technology. One brand I recommend is called Plantronics, catch a peek at one here.

For more detailed information in regards to the technical requirements needed to work for the company be sure to visit Voice Log's website here!

But in the meantime, this is all you really need to know to apply and get the process started. Good luck!
