VipKids needs online teachers

vipkids jobs

It looks like VIPKids, a Chinese-based online tutoring company has ramped up their efforts to find qualified educators who are willing to work from home, on a part-time basis.

Despite the fact that our teachers here in the U.S. have to pay for a college education and certification, starting pay for educators is shockingly low.

Unfortunately, the truth of the matter is that many U.S. based teachers seek to supplement their income, especially during the summer months, and companies such as VIPKids and others like it (Connections Academy) are poised to hire teachers who are interested in a part-time position, be it after school or during the dog days of summer.

Just last week, VIPKids announced that they are hiring thousands of teachers in the U.S.

And what's even better is that they are apparently following in the footsteps of another online education company, 51Talk who just launched a hiring spree of their own just three days before VIPKids.

Their friendly competition for online education dominance is providing more jobs for teachers and tutors not just in the U.S., but throughout the world.

In fact, according to a recently published report from a consultancy company named iResearch, the online English language tutoring niche is slated to grow from a $4.5 billion opportunity back in 2016, to close to $8 billion in 2019.

Let's talk about pay.

VIPkids states that their online language teachers can make anywhere from $14-$22 an hour, depending on experience.

To qualify, you would need to have a Bachelor's degree in any field of study and you should also have at least one year of teaching or tutoring experience.
