SO sorry for being absent lately! Hope you all had a wonderful Thankksgiving holiday and it's good to be posting here again.
Lately, I've been SO good about taking my daily walks and the scenery with the Fall foliage all around has been breathtaking!
I have been able to walk for sometimes two hours a day and it has done wonders for my state of mind and my appetite too. ( That maybe isn't good lol).
But it has caused me to reflect on many things as the year winds to a close.
At the beginning of this year, I went to a vision board class put together by a friend of mine. It was fun and I stuck the vision board in my closet where I would come across it from time to time.
Wouldn't you know it:
A lot of things that I put on my vision board have come to pass, including a new car, a beach vacation and... here's something really neat:
I put 2 (fake) $100 bills on my board. They look pretty real!
Anyway, my goal was to be making $200 per appointment ( I'm a mobile notary and loan signing agent) by the end of the year.
About a month ago, I got approached to be part of a team of notaries being used by a local builder. I just found out a week ago that their fee to me would be $200 per appointment.
I think this vision board stuff works!
Anyway, the reason I have had so much time to walk is because having 1-2 appointments a day is enough to keep me happy. Many have been saying that work for notaries is dead. I tend to disagree. ( I have other contracts too and I can choose whether or not take appointments now. Awesome!)
Which just shows me that even when the naysayers come in and try to tell me that something isn't going to work, there are always other things at play that they know nothing about.
